Our recent ”G.I.V.E. (Get.Involved.Volunteer.Exceed): Your Jeans a New Home“ initiative
partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help families in need of
decent, affordable places to live.
More than 19,000 pair of used jeans were collected from college
campuses, employees and high school students and recycled into ”green“
building insulation for use in Habitat for Humanity homes in
the South Bronx and Katrina ravaged Mississippi.
In addition, the G.I.V.E. campaign donated $100,000 to build Katrina related replacement homes in Mobile, Alabama. Polo
volunteers participated in the South Bronx and Mobile projects. |
